ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ರ್ಯಾಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಓರ್ವ ಶಂಕಿತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ತಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಅವರ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ರಕ್ತದ ಕಲೆ ಇರುವುದು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಮೀಪದಿಂದ ಈ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆದಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಊಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶನಿವಾರದಂದು ಪೆನ್ಸೇಲ್ವಿನಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಾಲಿ ವೇಳೆ ಈ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋಪಿ ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಎಂಬುದು ಇದರಿಂದ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಈಗ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಪಾಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.
