ಶ್ರೀನಗರ : ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಬಾರಾಮುಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಶಫಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಭಾನುವಾರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಅವರು ಶೀರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಗಂಟ್ಮುಲ್ಲಾದ ಮಸೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಶೀರಿ ಬಾರಾಮುಲ್ಲಾದ ಗಂಟ್ಮುಲ್ಲಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಸೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜಾನ್ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಶಫಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೇನೆ ಸುತ್ತುವರೆದಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಂದು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ವಲಯ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
